For the past 20 years, I’ve been leading congregations in worship. In the 10,000+ hours I'd led, I’ve walked through plenty of peaks and valleys as a leader. There were even times when I had thoughts of quitting and throwing in the towel.
Trust me, I’ve felt the struggle of wrestling with my own thoughts and often feeling like I come up short. But over the years, I’ve learned many practical tips and tools that have proven themselves helpful to keep my heart alive while leading worship.
These tools have brought such a transformation in the way I live my life today and the way I lead worship and that’s why I can’t wait for the chance to share them with fellow worship leaders like you.
I can’t tell you how much I wish I would have taken a training like this when I was younger. Being confident in front of others and leading without fear is how we are meant to worship. God made us that way. You are meant to be an overcomer.

I'm Justin Rizzo.
Over the past 20 years I've led over 10,000 hours of worship.
I've been privileged to lead or co-write with artists and worship leaders like Phil Wickham, Matt Maher, Meredith Andrews, Housefires, Maverick City, and others.Â
I know what it feels like to want to lead your heart, team and church to the best of your ability but feel overwhelmed with your own weaknesses, insecurity, and inability.
I thought many times "I started leading worship because I love Jesus and never thought it would be this difficult." Or "I think I'm going to quit because I'm not nearly as talented as this other person." Or "I don't possess the ability to pastor or lead my band and singers with excellence."Â
After two decades, a ton of prayer, thousands of hours of trial and error, and ultimately the kindness of Jesus, I have found the pathway forward. I've found the way to overcome the challenges, and take my personal life, team, and church to a place of sustained joy in leading worship. Through personal development, biblical principles, and a personal relationship with Jesus, I've been able to get out of my head and into my heart with leading worship onstage and leading people offstage. Â
