Take the next step in sustaining your calling as a worship leader
If you’re a worship leader who wants to strengthen your relationship with God and refuel in your calling, this gathering is designed for you.
Meeting in beautiful Kansas City, Missouri, RECHARGE is a small close-knit gathering designed to envision and refuel you as a worship leader through times of worship, rest, reflection, co-writing, and breaking bread together. This gathering will also give you time at one of the nicest studios in Kansas City where we will produce a ready-to-upload to Spotify single for you.
Song Production
Before RECHARGE we will go through a process to find a song you’ve written (or will write) that we will record while you're here. Many desire to record music but don’t because of a lack of resources or knowledge of how to do it well. RECHARGE will give you exclusive time to record at one of the nicest studios in Kansas City. The song will be full band, your vocals, mixed and mastered. So literally all you would need to do is have someone design some artwork, and you can upload your song to Spotify.
Networking
In this intimate gathering of about 6 people, engage with like-minded worship leaders who are on a similar journey as you, and build meaningful friendships that will last a lifetime.
Prayer Room
Rest, refresh, and recharge in the International House of Prayer prayer room that has gone non-stop with LIVE worship for the past 24 years.
Community
Build long-lasting community with other worship leaders as we worship, pray, fellowship, and break bread together.
Cowriting
You will have a cowriting time with seasoned songwriters where you’ll write a song and also learn how to establish and run co-writing groups in your own community.
Small group worship
Times of small group worship where we'll seek the Lord together, pray, and minister to one another.
Breaking bread together
One of the most bonding experiences is breaking bread together. Your registration includes two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners (one at a five-star restaurant).

A list of suggested hotels will be emailed to you upon registration. Many great hotels, VRBO's and Airbnb are also available.
MCI Airport. Transportation to and from the airport is not included. As long as the hotel is within 5 miles of Grandview, MO you will be picked up and dropped off every day.
Registration cost covers two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners (including one at a five restaurant)

I am so excited to welcome you to RECHARGE.
RECHARGE is unlike any gathering you've ever attended. This is not a conference. It is a small tight-knit three-day experience.
I created RECHARGE by thinking of every possible way a worship leader would be strengthened and encouraged.
I started leading worship at the age of 12 and it was shortly after that when a mentor asked me what my dream was. I told him that I wanted to impact people through worship, music, and the creative arts.
So, I set out on that journey.
Over the past 20 years I've led over 10,000 hours of worship, written hundreds of songs, written and produced four full-length musicals, and continue to write and produce songs, musicals, screenplays, and books. I haven't looked back since.
But that's not the whole story.
There has been great pain, fear, setbacks, and insecurity over the years coupled with many breakthroughs.
I know what it feels like to want to press into your worship leader calling but feel overwhelmed with your own weaknesses, insecurity, or loneliness.
After two decades, a ton of prayer, and thousands of hours of trial and error, I have found the pathway forward. I've found the way to overcome these challenges and lead worship with confidence, joy, and longevity.
This is why I created RECHARGE.
Maybe like me, you've felt alone on your worship-leading journey. Maybe you're confused or struggle to press into what you feel impassioned to do or create.
I believe every person's calling is significant and we all have a responsibility to steward the calling God has given us.
This is what RECHARGE is all about.
